Becoming a Rakugaki expert is an unconventional and nonconformist drawing learning method, allowing you to easily learn to observe and represent the world around you. Rakugaki is a Japanese drawing style that allows you to reproduce the universe in all its immensity with drawings as small and detailed as possible.
The key to success lies in the reader's ability to observe the world around them and draw inspiration from it, in order to create their own universe.
Conceived by Japanese illustrator and graphic designer Bunpei Yorifuji, this book proposes transposition techniques, such as using umbrellas to draw trees, a city to imagine a forest, or a posture to represent ten characters, allowing one to assimilate all the secrets to becoming a Rakugaki master.

Bunpei Yorifuji founded the graphic design and illustration studio Bunpei Ginza in 2000. He works as an art director in advertising, designs books, and, in parallel, develops a personal artistic activity. His campaigns for the Tokyo subway are certainly the best known, as are those for Japan Tobacco, Muji, and Milk Japan. Becoming a rakugaki specialist is his personal drawing method.
